“You know it’s wedding season when…”

We don’t blog! 

We have been up to our eyeballs swamped, but loving every minute of it.  Each day presents new work.  New challenges.  New demands.  Maintaining life balances.  Amongst many, many other things.  All of which I welcome open armed!

Today we celebrate our newest married couple, Bita + Steve.  You may remember them from this post…their hot and sassy Osso engagement shoot.  They married last night at the wonderful Ballantyne Hotel.  I am just so incredibly happy for them…so happy!!

We have just wrapped up an amazing weekend here at KVP!  Team Steve + Susan headed up a lovely wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte while Team Me + Woody took on the Outer Banks.

My-oh-my.

So much love.  So much beauty.  So very little time.

Today we cull through the day.  Marrying the images together to complete the perfect story.

I couldn’t help but share a priceless photo, captured during the First Look.  “The moment she is unveiled gets me every time!”

Congrats Jen + Win.  We had the time of our lives!!!

Ahhh…blogging.  Where do I even begin?  I remember (not too long ago) the days of shoot, upload, book design then repeat.  Now we live in the world of shoot, upload, book design, blog it, facebook it, twitter it, pin it (amongst many others) then repeat.

Don’t get me wrong.  I adore blogging.  I adore sharing.  I absolute treasure and thrive off of the excitement I see and hear when my clients get their pictures back.  It’s like my ‘pat on the bottom’  from my coach (of which I have written about before).  I can’t breathe until I get that pat.  My clients happiness is my ultimate goal.

But…blogging is hard work.  Finding the right words.  Making sure I don’t sound silly.  Ensuring the images all line up perfectly and cohesively.  It honestly (most times) can take up to several hours to layout the perfect blog (especially a wedding!).

So here I am.  Back-logged.  And I am totally okay with that because it means I have been b.u.s.y shooting, spending time with my precious twinks and hubby and these days…working on wrapping up an eight month long project with The Atlantis and One & Only Resorts.  Ahhhh…now that is gonna be a BLOG!

Wishing Erin + Jon the happiest wedding wedding weekend!!  Tomorrow we are off to The Point Lake and Golf Club to celebrate this gorgeous duo’s big day.  Can’t WAIT to see what The Charmed Event girls have designed and planned.  SO excited!
