Madison | Charlotte, NC Winter Bridal Session

“Winter Dreams…”

Like most wedding photographers, we love the bridal session.  It is a beautiful wedding-day-dress-rehearsal.  Fine tuning the perfect hair style and makeup palette…she begins to morph into the picturesque bride she has always envisioned.  It is becoming very real.  The day will soon be here.

For Madison, that day was yesterday.  She was calm upon my arrival at the beautiful Inn at USC.  Dressed in comfy, pink flannel pj’s while sipping a little bubbly, she sat getting beautified in one relaxed and gorgeous suite.  She was surrounded by her closest girlfriends and family – all taking special attention to ensuring she was at ease and loved .  It was blissfully intimate.  And despite the heavy rains throughout the day, I truly feel it added a sense of romance to the day.  Time slowed down.  Ahhhh….

Wedding day images will come soon, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy looking through our beautiful session photographed earlier this month.  It was my first bridal session shot entirely manual focus…and I am now hooked.  Challenging yes, but the results are like creamy, soft-serve, sweet ice-cream.  No looking back.  I am officially a Zeiss girl!!

Oh…and the dress?  Amsale.  Nitsa’s.  Wow.

“Madison, you were born to wear this dress!  Utter perfection!”

Thank you, Lindsey Regan Thorne for the stunning styling and beautification.  Thank you, Tiffany and Lauren of Weddings and the City for a smooth and gorgeously designed wedding day.  And thank you, Steve-O for always challenging me to work outside of my comfort zone…continually pushing me to always practice my craft…technically!  ha!!
