Portrait Session Preparation

 Looks + Location
~ Due to event weekends, portrait sessions only take place on weekdays.
~ In the event of inclimate weather, we will determine the evening before the shoot if a reschedule is necessary.
~ Your stylist/makeup + hair artist will remain on-location throughout the shoot for touch-ups and wardrobe change so that Kristin can focus on the composition and you can focus on loving each other.

Makeup + Hair
~ Please arrive on time.
~ Hair should be washed and dried.  If your hair holds oil {especially around your hairline} please wash it the night before or the morning of the shoot.
~ Face should be washed and clean {including mascara} and lightly moisturized.
~ Fingernails toenails should be cleanly manicured and clear unless otherwise stated.
~ Eyebrows should be freshly waxed or threaded at least three days prior to shooting.  Please do not do this the day before the shoot.
~ If using self-tanners, please make sure this too is done at least three days prior to shooting.  Again, please do not do this the day before shooting.

Wardrobe
~ We encourage all of our clients to bring their favorite “everyday staples” {jeans, leggings, shirts, sport coats, dresses, shoes, cardigans}.  After the wardrobe is selected if there are any other items that you feel might work well with the looks purchased…please bring.
~ Please arrive with all garments on hangers and ironed.
~ All shoes should be in a separate bag {please bring a variety of heels, boots, sandals, both black + brown}.
~ All undergarments should be in a separate bag {tights, spankx, intimates, slips, camisoles, hosiery}.
~ All accessories should be in a separate bag {statement necklaces, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hats, clutches, bags}.
~ Please ensure that a separate bag is ready to hold you second look, making it easy to change in a private on-location spot.

Props
~ All props should together be in a separate bag.  Make sure all glass pieces are properly wrapped to avoid damage.
~ If perishables are part of the shoot, please make sure they are secured in a small cooler {if needed}, otherwise a separate bag.
~ If you have any other props or family memorabilia that you would like to include, please make sure those items are properly wrapped and in a separate bag.
