The “Great Henry” Baby Shower

“The Bee’s Knees baby shower of the year!!”

I am so excited to be part of a great group of girls planning what we have dubbed, “The Great Henry Shower!”

Inspired by our (and Lindsey’s) love for all things Gatsby and vintage-glam, we are converting the bottom level of our home into a ‘wingding’ that will have everyone dancing, celebrating and raising a glass in honor of…John Henry Thorne!

The old wedding planner in me knew that the invite would set the tone for what was to come…so we had to go big or go home.

One of Lindsey’s dearest friends (Kristen…remember her!) and I started at Jo Ann’s fabrics to gather inspiration.  And that is when the creative collaborative magic began.

Here is how to make these yourself!

JoAnn’s:  Three layers of different textured paper, feathers, pewter baby pins.

Paper Source:  Luxe Cream A7 Box Mailers and Washi Tape (Gold)

Office Depot:  Washi Tape (Black), Pearlized Ivory Avery Labels (for shipping), clear seals (tape sides for shipping), double stick tape, presentation matte paper (for image) and a glue gun.

Voila!

Beautiful box invitations!!
