Jamie + Drew | Summertime Engagement Session

“Summertime, Skittles and Sun…”

Even though fall is just around the corner, my sugar-sweet, Lindsey Regan Thorne and I are still in full-swing summertime mode.  Meet Jamie and Drew.  The most oh-so-adorably-in-love duo!  I mean…really in love duo…they didn’t take their hands off of each other…and the laughter…oh the laughter.  Completely infectious and contagious the entire session.

Because this delicious couple live in Louisville (and Jamie is already a little fashionista), LRT decided to have to drop by the studio the day before their shoot to go through their wardrobe.  Voila…no need to shop it out…they had it (in partnership with what LRT had).  Jamie and Drew love everything grape and green.  So we decided to center their shoot around just that…COLOR!  And since they had all of their attire settled, I suggested to LRT to run to Target and prop style the shoot up there!  I knew I wanted to incorporate champagne dipped popsicles – so LRT took it from there and ran with that plus all things that Jamie and Drew love.  So fun!!

I hope you enjoy this little snippet!  And coming Spring 2012…wedding day!!  Can’t wait to see what LRT + Tiffany Ratliff with Weddings and the City have up their sleeves on this one!

Happy weekend…

“Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring? ~Castaway”

As we dive into the weekend, I am so thankful for an unforgettable birthday week.  A few days at the beach with my loves followed by two very wonderful days with my girls from the studio, has made this newly turned 37 year old a bundle full of joy and happiness.  Last night we continued the celebration with Split Second Sound (okay, I may have had too much fun last night).  And today I am so blessed to have topped the week off at very special luncheon with the amazing Kelly Randazzo, Carrie Sepesy (Ballantyne Resort and Lodge) + Amy and Gracy Potvin (Lift Up Foundation).  The Perfectly Pink Tea with Mrs. Claus Event is officially underway once again, and I am beyond grateful to be part of raising money for this incredible cause – kicking childhood cancer’s butt!!

So my friends…I hope that your weekend is full of sunshine, hugs, kisses and tons of love from those you adore most!
