Bloggers meet Kelly + Will…
Scrabble. Sundrop. And Sweetness.
Ahhhhh…when I take in this first look I see a sweet-summer breeze, cool delicious Sundrop and comfy picnic grass. BOY DO I WISH!!! Instead, we had a humid-muggy morning, stale air, warm Sundrops, pools of sweat and swarms of MOSQUITOES (oh, and I just learned this morning that poor Will ended up with Poison Ivy!)!! NICE!! Way to go, Kristin for picking such a stellar location!! haha!
HOWEVER, everyone made the best of it – especially Kelly and Will. They still let their hearts for one another shine through despite the circumstances…ahhh, TRUE LOVE!! Will proposed to Kelly with this very same Scrabble board (they are huge board game players). So, we decided to take the idea a step further and made up some one-of-a-kind Scrabble pillows (thank you, LRT…ah-mazing!!!). Kelly borrowed the hand-crafted wood table from her parents – as well as the iron bench. We hope you enjoy this little taste of Kelly + Will. They are total sweetness, and we’re so happy to share this journey with them! Styling/Hair/Makeup by my precious, sweet little sugar plum Lindsey Regan Thorne!
My husband and I started teaching our twinkies how to sign at six months of age. Almost three years later, I see and sign this very motion everyday, several times a day. This is a very, very special gesture in our home. Not sure why I hadn’t incorporated it into my shoots, but here you go…I LOVE YOU! Ahhhh…takes my breath away!

Look Two
OMY! OMY!! OMY!!!!!
On top of this delicious couple having a passion for board games, they also have a love for music and concerts. So, I decided to ask them if they were willing to ROCKSTAR it out?!?! I’m pretty certain they were a little reluctant at first (they didn’t want it to be cheesy or “not them”), however they decided they were in and up for some fun!!
We walked into The Fillmore and our chins dropped to the floor. One…it was SO REFRESHING to cool off inside after the blistering heat we endured during the first look. And two – the team at the venue knocked us right out of our shoes! The stage was perfect. The lighting was at our fingertips. And the yummy haze made for a picture-perfect rockstar look!! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER – Jeannine, Sean, Taylor and Jim! It was great fun!!
I am absolutely, 100% in love with the image of Will on the ground looking up. During the shoot I was yelling up at him to get down and pretend he was Michael J. Fox performing Johnny B Good from one of the last scenes in Back to the Future (YES I’M A DORK WHEN I SHOOT!!). However what I really saw was something profoundly spiritual, and it moves me to The Heaven’s when I look at it!
