“It’s a girl…”

It’s been quite some time since I have photographed a series of expecting photos like I have this month.  And I must admit, I am quite enjoying it.  Perhaps there will be some new menus added to the marketing plan in the near future?

This lovely couple has certainly inspired me. 

Shayla is a deliciously talented wedding planner that has recently started calling Charlotte home.  Eric is the entrepreneur behind Apostrophe Lounge in South End.  And this May, they are expecting their first baby girl.

Valentine’s Day Inspired | Engagement Session

“Pucker up!  It’s Love Month…”

From the time she can remember, she has had an undying passion for February 14th.  It was never Hello, Kitty.  Nope – no Barbie girl here.  When her momma asked her what her favorite ‘anything’ was…she replid, “Valentine’s Day!”

And to this day, the same holds true.  So much that they are planning a February 14th, 2014 wedding!

Last week we teamed up to photograph all of her favorite things (and what a cool groom to oblige…he’s gonna be a grrrrrrreat hubby!!!).  AND!  It included a Cotton Candy Machine!!  I can’t even tell you how excited I was to learn that they are also incorporating it into their big day.

Totally dolled up from head-to-toe by Lindsey Regan Thorne (mmmm…straight sugar)…once that floss was spun we hit the uptown pavement.  Brisk yes, but their love kept us warm!!
