My blossoms…

“Blooming love…”

Last week we celebrated Spring Break.  We played.  We shopped.  We stayed up late.  We slept in.  We cuddled.  We loved.

Hope you enjoy a little sneak peek of my precious little blossoms.  They are growing up much too fast.

I dream… I wonder…

“A mother’s love…”

Like many little girls, I use to dream about my wedding day.  The man.  The dress.  The flowers.  The ring.  And so on.

Then you have a daughter.  And like many mommies, you dream about her wedding day.  Her happiness.  Her love.  Her beauty.  Her moment.

At each and every wedding, I flash-forward.  I imagine what it will feel like when I see my Addy in her dress for the first time.  I imagine telling her how beautiful she looks and how very blessed I feel to be her mom.  And then I wonder, will I flash-back?  Will I recall how she is right now at the tender age of four?  Remembering how much she loved playing dress-up?  How much she loved sleeping beside me?  How much we loved to hug and never let go.     How often she said while clapping her hands, “Get over here and give me some love’ns!”…just before getting into bed each night?

I wonder so many things.

But until then, I have a lifetime of memories to make with her…time can definitely slow down!

Holly + Mark | Charlotte, NC Greenhouse Engagement

“A sweet, fragrant love…”

Their love – undeniable.  Their beings – kindhearted.  Their demeanor – genuine.

Holly and Mark are set to marry in late September of this year.  Getting to know this incredibly humble couple has been a treat.  It is young, real love…the kind that takes your breath away.  I am so grateful to be part of the journey with them and their families.

A very special thanks to Campbell Greenhouse and Nursery for allowing us to photograph.  The orchids will blow your mind.  Thank you, Lindsey Regan Thorne for the beautiful wardrobe, hair and makeup.  It was perfectly them.  And perfectly spring!!

Happy Friday!!
