“An uptown affair…”

Where to begin?  It all started one beautiful spring morning at Patterson Farms.  Then came the 31 Days of December contest.  Next up, collecting her gift!

Which leads me to now.

Wedding day.

A glorious, love-filled, inspiring day.

Although this chapter has closed, it warms my heart to know that I have made lifelong friends in Jessica and Scott.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!  And to my wingman, Steve Michael, for helping me capture this amazing day!

“God bless the moon and God bless me…”

Right around 7:30pm each night, our world is surrounded by two running “naked-babies” (a game the twinks made up) who are screaming, laughing, bed-jumping, water splashing, Scope-swishing (yes, I let them try it once and now they are addicted), good-night storytelling and on bended knees praying.  While it is an exhausting time (and often nights requires me heading straight back down the stairs to pour a glass of wine), I know that the sweetest moment is soon to come…

“Mommy, can I have one more hug and a kiss?”

Always together, they round the corner of our staircase (just like they did two years ago in this image) to run to give me one last bedtime hug and kiss.  It melts my heart completely.  And as they round the corner going back up I hear…

“I love you mommy.  I love you most.  Sweetdreams.”

I will miss our staircase.

Let’s go camping! | Nicole and Robert Engagements

“Deliciously in love…”

Teaming up with Nicole and Robert has been crazy fun…and entertaining.  It is always a breath of fresh air when our grooms WANT a say in the pre-production process.  And boy did Robert have a say.  WE LOVED IT!!  From the glasses (which are his!) to the fantastic Hunter boots (that he purchased from Gilt…yes, girls…he shops on Gilt and Rue la la) – he did it all up!

The morning air was crisp.  The park was grand in history.  The love, laughter and smiles were abundant.  It was a picture-perfect Wednesday morning.

Wedding day is approaching fast and I am very much looking forward to seeing what the lovely Dina Berg Blazek team puts together at The Mint Museum Uptown!
