“Summer Garden…”

As we are quickly approaching this glorious fall season, we are on a fast paced track to get just a few more summer goodies posted.

The lovely, Jennifer and Crosby were married in an stunning picturesque backdrop at the beautiful, Duke Mansion (one of my most favorite places in Charlotte to photograph).  Complete with an array of spectacular summer hues, it was a true definition of the perfect summer wedding.

“Dream…”

She is the daughter of one of my best friends.  I have watched her grow…watched her come into her person.  She was all of seven years old when she came into my life.  A sassy, sweet and strong little girl…all of which she still remains.

And here we are.  She is a senior.  A young woman embarking on the journey of her own independence.  A young woman who will carry with her all of the life lessons her momma has instilled – at least we hope, (right, Tay!?!).  haha!

All joking aside, she has morphed into an undeniably extraordinary young lady – ready to conquer the world with her strong and vivacious spirit, yet with eyes still speaking of innocence and youth.

What a beautiful stage in life.  Excitement yet fear.  Certainty yet uncertainty.  Courage yet meek.

I love you, Tay-tay.  So incredibly proud of the woman you are becoming.

While I don’t typically shoot weddings..I do so love to work with teenagers and senior portraiture and I love your senior shoot! She’s just gorgeous..those eyes! The fashion is so fun too!
