KVP Woman | Lindsey

She is fierce.  She is strong.  She is compassionate.  She is creative.  She is a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend.

She is an artist.

She is Lindsey…a kvp woman!

Praise…

“I’m someone who thrives off of making others feel beautiful and confident… it’s a passion that I live for.  And knowing that Kristin shares this same passion, I graciously accepted when she asked me to test with her for KVP Woman.  I knew she would make me feel like I was the most gorgeous person she had ever laid her eyes on.

With little makeup, curly hair and an unforgiving dress…I’ve never felt more beautiful.   Kristin helped me with poses so that I looked my best on camera.  She played music, made me laugh and (bottom line) brought the beautiful women that I’ve been hiding for all these years out of me.  I’ve never felt more radiant… more alive and more on top of the world.  I soared with confidence.  I believe that every female deserves the chance to experience this beauty the way I did.”  ~Lindsey

Special thanks to Flowers by Lingky for bringing my creation to life and allowing me to get the eucalyptus bug out of me!  To Tracy and NY Bride and Groom for all of the delicious dresses…they were AMAZING!  And to the little subject herself (my be pretty Jungle Dragon, Lindsey!) for giving me the hair/makeup/style that I desired – light eyes, bold lip, big hair and lots of jungle-like moves!

The big reveal | KVP Woman

I had big video plans about launching this great news, but since I seemingly cannot stop tearing up (shocker!) I will just have to use my words.

Today I launch…

KVP Woman!
Celebrating the art and beauty of women five to ninety-five through the eyes of the camera.

Up until now, I have done very little portrait work outside of my wedding clients.  But what I have discovered this last year is that I find so much joy in pulling aside my girl (be it at an engagement shoot or on wedding day) and photographing her.  I adore getting her on camera and pulling expressions, poses, angles, laughter and style out of her that she didn’t realize she had.  I adore producing shoots, playing with dresses and fashion, going through the hair style and makeup application process with my artist…all the way through post production.

I adore creating pieces of work that are a true reflection of her.

So much that I want to dedicate more time behind the camera doing just that.

Glam, vintage, romantic, soft…I want to create more art.

Every ounce of my heart, soul and spirit has gone into launching this…down to the investment…which was probably the hardest part.

What do I charge?

Well I decided..

Nothing.  No creative fee upfront.  You decide after what you like and what you want.

All women have to do is inquire, pick an available weekday slot and location that I provide (sorry, ladies…still gotta shoot those weddings!), pay for a little hair and makeup and be prepared to have some fun and feel beautiful!

That’s it!

The bump.  The bride.  The mom.  The daughter.  The graduate.  The prom.  The just turned 40-year old.  The sassy grandma.  The just-because.

It’s all about the woman.  We all have something to celebrate!

Jenny J Cook - Very original, KVP! You are a machine! Congratulations on your new venture. I know it will be a huge success. xoxoMay 22, 2013 – 1:34 pm

Stacey - This is so amazing! I know as a woman who has been run over most days by the “mommy” train, it must feel wonderful to get to be beautiful on the outside for a day! Most of the time I’m the one snapping pics of the kids and making sure that I don’t end up in the pictures, so it would be so great to have a picture that I could feel beautiful in!May 22, 2013 – 1:38 pm

Meredith Boyette - What a beautiful idea! My grandmother will be 97 in August and so wish that we had some “natural” photos of her in her element!May 22, 2013 – 4:20 pm
